[D33 does notice, however vaguely, a bit of anxiety twisting in his stomach as he types it. But that's probably normal, right? To be anxious that you can't even remember your own name?]

"D33" hardly sounds like a name to me.

It seems that I woke up next to someone this morning, though I have no memory of who he might be.

I think I probably offended him a bit with my reaction, though I was understandably quite confused.
