[he's there not long after, though mightyena bounds ahead to say hello to dee, boofing and wagging its tail at him, sniffing intently.]

[D33 starts a bit as the dog bounds toward him, but its excitement isn't hard to read, and as it gets closer the smallest of smiles breaks out on D33's face. He can only assume that the man following him is this "Archie" he's been speaking to. Still, he doesn't wait for permission to lean down and run a hand over the dogs head, still smiling, however cautious that smile is.]

mightyena pants happily, licking at dee's face.]

[D33 scrunches up his nose at the licking, but he doesn't exactly look displeased - he almost laughs.]

He...certainly looks unlike-- Well, what I imagine a dog to look like.

[Not that he can really...remember any dogs that he might have seen. Aside from the dog that had been in his room this morning.]

What did you say his name was?

[Oddly enough, though, D33 is having a much easier time doing so this time around.]

I was looking into it, actually. There seems to be a Café not too far from here. The ":Re Café", I believe it's called.

Ah. [D33 furrows his brow a bit at that - what are the odds?

[It's clear that he feels a bit awkward when it comes to that topic as well, the way he shifts around and clears his throat.]

Kaneki, yes. We spoke briefly of him before.

What do you know of the man?

[D33's already mentioned his suspicions that the two are romantically involved, somehow. Talk about awkward.]

He owns the café, you work there. He's really nice and friendly-- you were... are? Really fond of him. You two get on real well.

Given the nature of our relationship-- Well, what I assume of it...

[His voice trails off there as he furrows his brow, scratching thoughtfully (maybe a little awkwardly) at the back of his head.]

Truly, I can't recall a thing about the man. But he did leave me with the impression that we are...fond of each other, as you've said.

He did seem quite friendly at the very least.

That would be my assumption as well. He kissed me this morning.

[There's a bit of humor in his voice as he says it, though he doesn't quite laugh. It's just a bit comical, looking back on it as all. Strange, though. Terribly strange.]

Perhaps I will speak with him later, then. If it is true that we are...[How to say this?]...involved, I suppose I owe him that much.
