Erik-san and Charles invited me to a Thanksgiving Dinner Party on November 23rd. Would you like to come with me as my plus one?

[Charles's name brings about a familiar hesitation in D33, but, seeing as Kaneki and he are rather close and that D33 is (now, officially) Kaneki's companion, he supposes that he will have to get used to the man eventually.

[Still, he has his reservations, but...]

If that is what you would like, Kaneki, then I will attend, of course.

[There's a pause.]

I take it that this "Thanksgiving" is another one of this world's holidays.

[Which, honestly, only brings about more hesitation in D33, but if Kaneki is going to be there, he'd rather join him than spend the night without him.]

Not if you feel uncomfortable. I know you don't like social gatherings-.

And yes, it exists in a lot of worlds. It's very important in some countries, even Japan has Labor Thanksgiving Day, but Americans celebrate it differently. There is a lot of food involved, in USA.

You know of my reservations when it comes to Professor Xavier and those with abilities such as his own, but he has assured me in the past that he will refrain from using such abilities in regard to myself, and you certainly do seem to find him rather trustworthy.

[Still...]

I see no reason why I should not attend, if that be the case. Especially if you should like me to be in your company that night.

Simply because I care for him doesn't mean you too must. I don't expect you to like all the people I like.

I do like to be in your company, but we are already together most of the time.

[A trend that D33 doesn't wish to break any time soon, especially given their last conversation. Kaneki's response does have him smiling at his phone just a bit.]

I would be happy to accompany you, Kaneki.
