Nothing quite so exact, but similar stuff.

ImPorts tend to cause some nasty effects like this, now and then. At least this time, it's mostly limited to ourselves. I haven't heard of any damage to innocents, yet.

Then you know you're not native to this world. Those that are native to this world are, unfortunately, generally victims of our influences on it.

That's certainly unfortunate.

Why do you suppose that this particular circumstance happens to be affecting ImPorts rather than natives?

That's a good question. It likely has something to do with the nanites the government has injected into our bodies. Whatever it is that's causing this weirdness must be getting passed through them- like a virus of some sort.

I suppose these nanites must have caused a great deal of issues in the past as well.

Do you suppose they might have been able to inflict some sort of brain damage?

I am, of course, hoping that this change I am experiencing will not become permanent.

[Though, it has already been suggested that it likely won't be. Little does D33 know what he's asking for.]
